About us - Mother's Union

The Mothers' Union at St Edmund's usually meets every month on the second Wednesday of the month at 2 pm in the Parochial Hall. Recent meetings have covered:

• illustrated talk and quiz on Italy
• members' favourite readings
• gliding
• caring for life at Crag House Farm

Members and guests enjoyed the 70th anniversary celebrations on Sunday July 12th 2009. Below is a picture of the cake shared with members of the congregation after the 10am service and a picture taken after the lunch.

St Edmund's Mothers' Union in 1999 marked the 60th anniversary of its founding. The picture below shows Diane Taylor cutting the cake at the celebratory lunch.
