About us - Rambling

The rambling club meets every month (apart from December) for a short (5 to 8 mile) ramble which invariably includes a pub lunch. Additional walks are arranged in the summer months which are longer and/or more challenging.

The picture below was taken in April 2004 near the start of the walk which began at the top of Shipley Glen.

 

The rambles take place on the Saturdays which contain a 'teen' in their date, ie 15th, 16th, etc. We meet in the church car park at 9.30 am. A list of the current month's rambles can be found on this site by clicking here.

Recently shorter mid-week rambles have been introduced.
