“I’m Not Supposed to Feel Like This” is a Christian self-help approach to depression and anxiety.  “Depression  … is particularly difficult for Christians who feel they “shouldn’t” get depressed, and who wrongly feel that an attack of low spirits is a result of a poor or damaged relationship with God.”  This book is “an empowering and practical response to such feelings.  In the style of a workbook, with constant reference to the Bible and the example of Jesus, it helps the reader to understand why they feel the way they do, and to draw on God’s love and grace to find a path through depression and anxiety.”

In the foreword Dave Pope writes, “How refreshing to see this publication – firmly grounded in Scripture, but committed to a sound, psychological approach – good, wholesome and, what’s more, wonderfully effective.”

A limited number of copies are on the bookstall.  If they have gone, Andrew will be pleased to take orders for more, or the book (published by Hodder & Stoughton, ISBN 0-340-78639-6) is available from Christian retailers.  It is priced £6.99.
