Wednesday Brownies

We have had a busy Summer term with the Brownies working for their Water Safety and Out and About badges and finishing off their World Guiding badge. We took part in the Giant Sleepover by sleeping in the Scout and Guide Headquarters and raising money for Save the Children.

We were very sad to say goodbye to Margaret Middlemass who had been a Guider with the 1st Roundhay Brownies for many years and to Beverley Gilbert who has been a Unit Helper with both the Rainbows and the Brownies. We thank them both for all they have done to foster the spirit of guiding amongst so many girls.

Ted and Gill kindly came to our last meeting to thank Margaret, Beverley and Adrienne Byatt (until last year the lead Guider for Friday Guides) for all their hard work and commitment on behalf of the church and the Scout and Guide Parents' Association.
