7th Roundhay Brownies

The Brownies had a busy summer term with lots of our activities taking part outdoors. The highlight was our pack holiday at Robin Hole in July. Despite mixed weather (sunshine, monsoon type rainstorms, hail stones and thunder) everyone had a wonderful time. Our theme was The Olympics and the most popular event was the 'water olympics' which involved water team games and ended up with everyone getting soaked. All the Brownies gained either the Advanced or First Pack Holiday Badge.

My thanks to Janet Mitchell, Helen Bunce, Diana Thorpe and Judith Cage who willingly gave up their weekends to act as leaders, plus Elizabeth Bartle and Sarah Poole, our willing young leaders.
