On destitution among asylum seekers in Leeds

Following the meeting with Fabian Hamilton, Bishop John Packer and others on October 16 2009 RCCC has decided that each month our magazines will feature a different target response to the ongoing problem. It is felt that by suggesting different responses in this way we can all play our part as is most appropriate for our own circumstances. It might be a cheque to the LASSN hardship fund or dry foods for the PAFRAS drop-in visitors or a letter to our MP…

THIS MONTH'S STORY. B was a Christian Secondary School teacher specialising in RE in her home country. We do not yet know her full story but she has said that she would not have come if she had know how prejudiced we are.
