Amnesty International in our Locality

There are two ways you can get involved in Amnesty locally:-

Amnesty Leeds Roundhay Neighbourhood Sub-group.
This is the splendiferous title given to a small group of people who meet in Roundhay (in a private home) on the 4th Tuesday of each month except August and December. We write letters about human rights violations from information supplied by the AIUK website, Amnesty magazine or the main Leeds group. Amnesty also frame a suggested letter for our guidance which we can use or adapt.

Amnesty Leeds
This main group has a large membership of young and old. It has interesting speakers and imaginative actions. The group meets at Leeds Civic Centre at 7pm on the third Thursday of each month except December. The Secretary is Clive Briscoe (email clivebriscoeia@btinternet.com). All are welcome.
