Thursday Cubs visit BBC North Studios

Last month the Cubs from Gold Pack (Thursday evening) visited the BBC North studios and looked around the graphics department, the TV Studio and the Directors' Gallery. We were lucky enough to met Harry, Christa and Paul 'the weatherman' and they all spoke to the Cubs for a few minutes, after the live 6.30pm programme had finished filming. Several of the boys also got the chance to be a 'weatherman' for a short time. We also met Roopra, who can be seen in some of the earlier programme slots and saw the filming of an article on 'One Night Only' - apparently one of the next big bands who come from Helmsley!

The visit was kindly arranged by Chris Lowe, to whom all the Cubs and Leaders give their thanks for such a well received evening

We have promised/threatened to return!
