Let us count our blessings
If you have food in the fridge/clothes on your back/a roof
over your head and place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of the world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change you are
among the world's 8% richest.
If you woke without illness, you are more blessed than the millions who
won't survive the week.
If you have never experienced danger of battle, pangs of starvation, loneliness
of imprisonment, agony of torture you are ahead of 500 million people of
this world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture,
death - you are more blessed than 3 billion people in the world.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful
- you are blessed - blessed because the majority can - but do not.
If you can hold someone's hand/hug them or touch them on the shoulder you
are blessed because you can offer a healing touch.
If you can read this and hand it on you are more blessed than 2 billion
people who cannot read.
