Emmaus Leeds
Emmaus Leeds will give people who are homeless a
home and work in a supportive "family"
environment. 18-25 people at a time will live
"above the shop" working in the business
which will collect, renovate, re-cycle and re-sell
donated goods and furniture. Once established around
70 people per year will live at the Community. Living
at Emmaus will allow people to develop their
self-worth, expanding personal and work skills.
An ideal property has been found in the former St
Charles School in Lincoln Green. Over £1 million
plus revenue costs needs to be raised but once up and
running Emmaus Leeds will become self-financing.
You can help by attending "Carols For
All" on Wednesday 12th
