Emmaus Leeds

Emmaus Leeds will give people who are homeless a home and work in a supportive "family" environment. 18-25 people at a time will live "above the shop" working in the business which will collect, renovate, re-cycle and re-sell donated goods and furniture. Once established around 70 people per year will live at the Community. Living at Emmaus will allow people to develop their self-worth, expanding personal and work skills.

An ideal property has been found in the former St Charles School in Lincoln Green. Over £1 million plus revenue costs needs to be raised but once up and running Emmaus Leeds will become self-financing.

You can help by attending "Carols For All" on Wednesday 12th December at 7pm at Leeds Parish Church with Leeds Parish Church Festival Choir, St Peter's Singers, Leeds College of Music Choral Society and DUT Yorkshire Imperial Rothwell Band. Conducted by Simon Lindley. Tickets £4 by ringing 0113 245 3636
