Food for Thought

Lord, throughout today I give my thoughts,
words and actions to You.
I want them to be in Your Name, Jesus,
and in dependence upon you, Holy Spirit,
giving praise and honour to the Father in everything.
Help me to live moment by moment
in the fullness of who You made me to be,
thanking You for all Your continuing blessings to me.

Lord, today please help me to feel Your Love,
know You more,
and draw closer on my life journey to You.
You who sees the end from the beginning,
please show me what you want me to be and do,
and please use me to share Jesus with others today.
Remind me that the whole purpose of my life
is to love, praise and worship You,
and so to love others for Your Sake.
Please love people through me today,
and help me to reach out to them from inside Your Arms.
Please show Yourself to others through my life today,
and use me to Your glory.

Lord, help me today to live in Your will,
and to hear You speaking to me.
By Your Holy Spirit please remind me constantly
that You are my Commander- in-Chief,
and keep me aware that You are the reason for everything I do.
Please guide and empower me, Lord,
helping me to work at every task with a good heart
doing all I do for You, not for others.
Send whoever You will,
take away whoever You will.
Your purposes are my reason to live,
and your approval my reward.
I will do today for You, Lord.
I ask all this in the Precious Name of Jesus.
