No Room at the Inn?

Churches Together in Roundhay have arranged a series of three events contrasting some modern issues with traditional Advent and Christmas Stories. We will focus on people who feel excluded in some way and the support offered to them by Christian Groups. On each occasion there will be elements of worship, information and discussion. The events are as follows:

Monday Lunch Times 1.00-2.30 at the Friends Meeting House - Street Lane. Please bring your own sandwiches - drinks provided.
30 November : "Excluded from Society"
7 December : "Excluded from School"
14 December: "Financial Exclusion"

Monday Evenings 7.30 - 9.00 (Please note venues)

7 December : "Financial Exclusion"(Friends Meeting House)
14 December : "Excluded from Society" (St Andrew's)

Speakers will be: Philip Bee (Oastler Centre for Faith & Economic Life); Jackson Turner (Involve - Supporting Learners) and Beth Wilson (West Yorkshire Community Chaplaincy)
Although everyone is extremely busy at this time of the year, we feel it is particularly important to set aside a time for reflection on these issues.
