7th Roundhay Rainbows
Last
term we welcomed three new girls into Rainbows, Lucy Bulipiit, Alice Hawkins
and Lilliana Pisacarie and they all made their promise on Thinking Day.
We had a busy term, including a games evening where the Rainbows brought
along their own favourite game and we played as many as possible, Chinese
New Year where we tried to eat noodles with chopsticks, lots of craft
activities and a 'fashion challenge' competition to see which group of
5 Rainbows could design two outfits out of paper, ribbon and sellotape.
The winning group are pictured after modelling their outfits for the other
Rainbows.
Our Easter activities included hearing the Easter story told through 'Jesus
Eggs'. If you don't know what these are ask one of the Rainbow or Beaver
leaders for an explanation.
