Mothers’ Union Visit Richmond

Last summer our Mothers’ Union branch entertained members from our link branch of Richmond in North Yorkshire.   On a sunny June day last month 14 of us travelled from Roundhay at the invitation of the branch in Richmond. On arrival we were given a short but extremely informative guided tour round the castle walls followed by a very lavish afternoon tea in the Rectory garden provided by members of the Mothers’ Union. Just before leaving for home the Rector led evensong in the beautiful church of St Mary’s.  We look forward to entertaining our friends from Richmond again.
