Pack Holiday 2004

In October I went on Pack Holiday with my Brownie friends. We went to Robin Hole House near Ilkley. When we all got there on Friday night we changed into our pack holiday clothes and made our beds. It was very exciting. Our theme was Shrek and Brown Owl was fairy Godmother. The other leaders were Donkey, Princess Fiona, Gingerbread man, the Handsome Prince and Puss in Boots. We didn't get much sleep on the first night as everyone was too giggly.

On Saturday we did our jobs, a Hansel and Gretel Trail, played out in the stream and had a fantastic Fairy Tale Feast. We made lots of things as well. On Sunday we made puppets and wands and after doing our jobs we had Sunday lunch. After lunch we had to get ready to go home. We all felt sad as we packed up our sleeping bags. At the end of the holiday six new Brownies made their promise and then we sang lots of songs that we learnt at the campfire. The mums and dads enjoyed listening to them. We had a fantastic time and would like to say thank you to everyone who took us. I can't wait for the next one! Brownies is cool!!!!!
