Prayer for Change

The Prayer for Change has been appearing simultaneously in the magazines of St Andrew's, St Edmund's and Lidgett Park for a number of years. I don't remember how long, nor how the topic was chosen. This month the Lidgett Park contributor is making a change and writing about change.

All three of our covenanting churches have experienced changes recently - of ministers, of the fabric of the buildings.

Have we seen changes in:
Our life and worship together? Let us pray for the new Youth Club, the young people who join, the volunteer helpers (more please)

Our neighbourhood - What effect do we have in it? Guide us in your wisdom, Lord. Open our hearts and show us your Way.

Our understanding of God - is it growing and developing? - helped by "house groups", classes, and conversations together.

God, who changes not, abide with us.
