Prayer for Change

Lord, as I sit here in the morning sunshine
I am surrounded by your beauty,
The wood pigeons calling to waken your world.
The insects flying or crawling among flowers and grass.
The clover, ready to attract bees on warming air.
Lichen in the stone paths, a testament to time.
The waterlilies waiting to open as the sun rises.
Your colour, shape and form is everywhere, the reds, greens, blues and yellows that make up your rainbow
Your Peace pervades.
Lord, we pray everyone can see, touch, feel your Glory;
be touched by your warmth;
strengthened by your love,
this day and for ever.
