Pre-School Praise
To mark our last Pre-School Praise of the year,
we held a special extended service with a picnic and bouncy elephant. It
was supposed to be held out in the church grounds but - this being a normal
July - rain in the morning meant that we had to move into the church. Everyone
- adults and children alike - had a wonderful time as we began with an indoor
picnic and bouncing at the back of the church. After an hour we gathered
at the front for our service: after our opening songs 'This is the Day'
and 'Two Little Eyes' we listened to a telling of Jesus' parable of the
wise man building his house upon the rock. After more songs we returned
to the back of the church for a colouring activity, refreshments and more
bouncing! To finish the afternoon we joined hands to sing 'He's Got the
Whole World in His Hands'. Looking back, I was glad it had rained because
our beautiful church was just a perfect setting for such a happy act of
worship and fun.

After our summer break, the Pre-School Praise will move
to the second Tuesday of each month - the first one being on Tuesday 13th
September. Please join us and invite your friends!
