Wednesday Brownies
The first weekend of the Easter holidays found
the Wednesday Brownies on pack holiday at Robin Hole just outside Burley
in Wharfedale. We were lucky to enjoy a very mild, fine weekend and spent
some time exploring the stream and playing games outside. Our theme for
the weekend was "Fairies". On Saturday we all made wands and fairy
wings and then dressed up in our fairy finery (brought from home) for Saturday
tea which was pizzas the Brownies made themselves. We also made fairy buns,
friendship bracelets, decorated hankies and did some sewing. At the end
of the weekend the Brownies entertained the parents with some very creative
rhymes they had composed.

My thanks to the adult and young leader team who worked
so hard to make the weekend so enjoyable and to all the Brownies who were
great fun to be with and actually went to sleep before midnight.
